Teacher Effectiveness in Africa: Longitudinal and Causal Estimates

This working paper uses longitudinal data from a randomized controlled trial in northern Uganda to estimate teacher effectiveness and value-added in early primary reading. It explores how teacher training, pedagogy programs, and classroom behaviors impact student learning outcomes.
