Decolonizing Teaching and Classroom Experiences in Africa: The Role of Bilchiinsi

This paper examines the foundational learning crisis in sub-Saharan Africa and proposes 'Bilchiinsi'—a Dagbaŋ philosophy of ethical and communal living—as an alternative indigenous classroom pedagogy to decolonize teaching and improve educational interactions in Ghana and beyond.
