Ending Child, Early and Forced Marriage in Africa: A Human Rights-Based Approach

This article examines the prevalence, causes, and consequences of child, early, and forced marriage (CEFM) in Africa, highlighting its negative impact on the education, health, and human rights of the girl-child. It argues for the application of a human rights-based approach (HRBA) utilizing participation, accountability, non-discrimination, and empowerment to drive regional policy solutions.
