The Implementation of the Screening, Identification, Assessment and Support Policy in KwaZulu-Natal Schools

This study explores teachers' roles and challenges in implementing South Africa's Screening, Identification, Assessment and Support (SIAS) policy for inclusive education. Findings highlight teacher training gaps and overcrowded classrooms as major barriers to early identification and support.
